Advertising
By advertising your business on Traveldata, you can expect results. Traveldata is arranged in a way that people can get right to the information they want without waiting for slow graphics, without having to register or go through interminable pages to access the information. The result is, potential customers will reach your advert before losing interest and browsing elsewhere.

Impressive Results in the Search Engines

We work hard to ensure that when someone types a key phrase into one of the major search engines Traveldata comes high on the list of options. Most web site owners dream of having a top twenty listing in one of the main search engines. For Traveldata, this is routine.

In the example shown below, a web user has gone into Alta Vista, the world's largest search engine, to look for information on a topic important to Traveldata - in this example flights to Spain.

As you can see, out of nearly half a million sites found by the search engine,Traveldata is listed as number one in the world-wide search.

To prove this is no fluke, we typed the same thing into Excite and got the same number one result (see below).

Not everyone wants a flight to Spain, of course. How about something completely different, such as a villa in America. In the example below, using AOL Netfind this time, Traveldata comes number one out of 1,371,853 search engine matches!

We ran a test that you can try yourself. We typed into seven of the most important search engines a dozen phrases which include key words that people use mostly, such as flights, villas and holidays.

We used these search engines: Alta Vista, the world's largest; AOL Netfind which has a million subscibers in the UK alone; MSN, Microsoft's search engine; British Telecom's popular BTClick; and the well-known Excite, Magellan and Webcrawler. On the left you can see what we typed. On the right you can see where we were ranked out of all the millions of sites logged by each search engine.
(Note: this experiment was done on the 25 July 1999. Search engine rankings can vary depending on when you use them)
